On November 24th, Mike Haugen, a.k.a. "Mr. H",set out with 9 other climbers from the U.S. and Great Britain in hopes of scaling Mt. Vinson, the highest point on the continent of Antarctica (16,077ยด).
Mike, this looks and sounds like quite the adventure. I've enjoyed reading and listening to your commentary. I recall the explorations we enjoyed when we were kids out in the wilderness of Chippewa Falls; I never imagined you would take that love of exploring so far. I have to say I enjoy showing off this site to my friends and students and saying I knew him when... I'm looking forward to following your future adventures.
